Jean and I picked our pears on Saturday, September 19, 2009. We have 2 pear trees in the orchard:
The old "Patten" pear yields about 2-3 bushel each year. (It got injured in the 1998 mega-wind storm. The trunk is nearly cracked off, but still it produced!
Our 10-year old "Parker" pear had a light year, and only produced 50 pears. Look at the size of this fruit!
