2010 bicycling stats

Our November 12th snow signaled a new season in Minnesota.  I'll pause
gardening & biking, and get out our snow activities.  Here are some fun stats on the bike saddle:


--> Best scenery:  Wild River State Park  (Taylors Falls, MN)

--> Best outdoor sounds:  Cows at Lydia, MN.  (MN IronMan ride, Sunday, April 25)

--> Hottest day? July 24 (Ride to Uncle Buddy's  and camping)

--> Rainiest day?  Ride to Lakeville (May 7)

--> Number of flat tires?  0

--> Roadside bungee cords?  26 sighted.   7 collected.

--> Fun purchase for biking: Food for trips!

--> Creative repair: Bought 14MM socket wrench in Apple Valley, so I could retighten my pedals, and continue riding to Uncle Buddies (Saturday, July 24)

--> Best downhill:
...Highway #86 ride to New Prague

--> Memorable experience:  Discovered a beautiful 32 mile route to work, along Mississippi River.
