On Friday, I biked up to Burnsville to meet Jean after work, and our plan was to drive North to visit Aunt Alline in Moorhead. We got a heavy rain storm at 10AM, so I ate an early lunch and biked out in the dry skies an hour later.
NOT!
After 1 mile, the sky opened with HUGH rain drops and I got my first downpour. This continued on/off each 5 minutes until I got to Fleet Farm... the sky was black, and it looked like I will be drenched. Yep! Imagine the biggest rains of your life; I had 4 miles left. The rain was warm, and I knew I had dry clothes to change into, and my wallet and cell phone were wrapped in water-tight ziplock bags. No photos of course, but I will keep this memorable ride in my thoughts and stories! Pat
