My bicycling started slowly in 2011: Rainy May. Installed our barn roof in June, and July was super humid! August is turning out beautifully, and my mileage and bicycling enjoyment are up. :)
I brought my bicycle up to our McNamara camping trip near Duluth. Here's a photo during one of my early morning rides.

The sun now rises at 6:15AM, and I'm enjoying 60 degree rides. To Northfield church last Sunday, and I bicycled the full round trip to my St. Paul office on August 15th. It flowed fast in the cool morning, and I cranked up my 32 miles in 2 hours. Coming home made it in 2.5 hours, and still got home in time for supper. :) I bucked against a 15 - 20 MPH south wind, and I got a bonus of extra exercise.
It feels great to bike in our late summer and fall in Minnesota!
