May '2011 was a tough month of medical appointments, and for wet / cold weather to prevent our planting. Fortunately, Laura stopped home in mid-May, and said how she LOVES SWEET CORN! And she helped me plant the patch.

Fast forward to mid-June. Our barn roof is on. I aggressively weeded this patch, and things are looking promising! We ate many meals of Sweet Corn in August, and really enjoyed it!
