It feels great to be in the garden again. Our spinach is ready to eat on April 30th. Our secret?
1) Let the spinach grow to seed in the summer. Keep weed-free.
2) Roto-till the area in mid-August.
3) Let new spinach naturally in the Autumn.
4) Eat fresh spinach in April/May.
I biked to carpool on Tuesday. 33 degrees with frost in low areas. A nice day.
Then, we got heavy "April showers" yesterday. Minnesota is greening up!
