Sakatah Bike Trail to Gustavus (Laura's Concert)

I biked to Laura's concert at Gustavus in St. Peter. I added the Sakatah / Singing Hills bike trail too, and rode 66 miles. The weather was fine, although the gusty head-winds gave me a good workout!

Some of today's sights and sounds:

Sunny, blue sky.

Yellow dandelions.

Robins bobbing across green lawn.

Warbling sounds from many birds.

Ducks on lake in Waterville.

Farmers tilling fields with monster tractors and machinery.

Sharing the country roads with a caravan of classic cars out for a Saturday drive.

Frogs in a pond sound like a loud symphony!

Resting on the soft, warm grass...

The sunny and windy day reminded me of the “Irish Blessing”.

* Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
